i have two wonderful, beautiful, smart, talented, incredible sisters.   and this song was written for the first dance at the wedding of the older of the two.   it's written as a gift from me to them.   and, to really make it a gift, I wrote it from her husband to her, as if he were singing it to her.   I watched them dance to it and can still vividly see them in my mind.   it stands out as one of the best moments in my life.   the original recording they danced to has never been released or put on the internet but, with their blessing, the song was re-recorded and put on the album.   it just had to be there.   it was also a thrill to bring in the original bassists who played the song on the wedding recording to record this album version. thanks, jim roberts.   you are still a most treasured friend.   (Jim also played bass on: the answer and grandpa's song)
